Hidamp  Sandwich  mountings  are  basically  rubber sections

integrally bonded to inter leaf of metal plates which is bonded to 

outer  plates. Meant for large compressive thrust force with minimum deformation. By means of positioning it at different angles it can be effectively used in compression and shear.
